Adrenaline Eco Blasting is an owner-run mobile blasting operation based in Medicine Hat, working across southeast Alberta. Matt Westland owns and runs it, and is on the work — so the person who quotes your job is answerable for how it turns out.

Traditional sandblasting throws crystalline silica into the air. It is a classified human carcinogen, and once it is airborne it does not care whether it is you, your crew, your livestock or the neighbour's garden downwind.
We run recycled crushed glass instead — silica-free, and with water in the stream it knocks airborne dust down by up to 95%. That is not just a health line. It means we can work beside a running operation, inside a yard, or up against a house without shutting anything down or sheeting off half the property.
Wet, dry, or both in the same afternoon
Dry blasting is faster and it is the right call on concrete, structural steel and heavy equipment where a bit of dust is nobody's problem. But run it on a thin fender or a vintage panel and friction heat will warp the metal before you have finished the door.
Wet blasting cuts and cools at the same time. Rust and coatings come off, the panel stays flat. We switch between the two in minutes, which is why one trailer covers a stock trailer in a field on Tuesday and a 1970s truck cab on Thursday.
What we will not do
- Blast heritage masonry at a pressure that eats the fired face off the brick.
- Put aggressive media on soft timber and leave it corrugated and fuzzy.
Scale of work
Jobs run from a single set of wheels or a deck through to multi-day industrial preparation and whole log homes. The rig is fully mobile and self-contained — compressor, pot, media and water all travel — so the constraint is access rather than location.
Where a project needs additional hands, staging, or a coatings partner to take it from bare metal through to a finished system, that gets arranged as part of the job rather than left to you to coordinate. If something is genuinely outside what we should be taking on, you will hear that too.
Rush work
Breakdowns do not schedule themselves. Neither do coating windows, shutdowns, or a tag that went up on your building overnight. Rush service is available depending on what is already on the books — say so when you call and we will let you know what is possible.
