Why pressure washing leaves a ghost
Water pushes pigment into porous masonry rather than lifting it out. You end up with a faded version of the tag plus a clean rectangle around it where the wash stripped the surrounding grime — which reads as "something was here" just as loudly as the tag did.
Media removes the paint from within the surface texture, and we feather the edges into the surrounding masonry so there is no bright patch announcing the repair.
Speed matters more than anything
Tags that stay up attract more tags, and fresh paint comes off far more easily than paint that has cured through a summer. If it went up last night, call us today.
